Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 August 2026 · version 3.0
These Terms of Service govern the provision of the LookTwin service available at looktwin.com. The provider is archBO s.r.o. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, the Biometric Consent and the AI Transparency Notice; these documents form part of the information we give you before you place an order.
You can save, reproduce and print these Terms from this page at any time. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that belong to you as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
1. The provider
The service is provided by archBO s.r.o., with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague, Czech Republic, company registration number (IČO) 01944711, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 285018.
Contact address for all matters, including complaints and withdrawal from the contract: info@looktwin.com, telephone +420 725 543 392. We answer in Czech, Polish and English.
LookTwin is the name under which archBO s.r.o. operates the service. Wherever these Terms say we, us or LookTwin, they mean archBO s.r.o.
2. Definitions
Service — the LookTwin web application. It does one thing: from the photographs of your face that you upload it trains your personal AI model and from that model it generates professional portraits of your face. We offer nothing else.
Account — your user account in the application, created with your e-mail address.
Input Photos — the 8 to 12 photographs of your face that you upload in order to have your Model trained.
Model — the personal AI model trained from your Input Photos.
Output Photos — the portraits produced by the Service from your Model.
Package — the paid performance of the Service: an order at a fixed price which includes the training of one Model and the delivery of a guaranteed number of Output Photos. The packages on offer differ in the guaranteed number of photographs and in the range of style choices; the application shows their current offer and prices before you order. They are described in sections 3, 7 and 8.
Guaranteed number — the number of Output Photos that is part of the package you chose and that we deliver to you.
Credits — merely an internal unit of account by which we measure our own cost of training and generation. The customer does not buy them, is not charged in them and does not need them in order to use the Service (section 9).
Consumer — a natural person acting outside the scope of their business activity or independent profession; under the conditions laid down by law the protection also extends to a self-employed natural person concluding a contract outside the scope of their business, and for consumers resident in Poland also under Art. 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
3. What the Service does
LookTwin does one thing: professional portraits of your face. You upload 8 to 12 photographs of your own face, choose a package and pay. Only after payment do we train a personal model of your appearance from your photographs and generate photographs from it. Training and generation usually take on the order of tens of minutes; we notify you by e-mail when they are done.
Before generation we show you a text description of your appearance that we assembled from the photographs, and you can edit it. You then choose a style (purpose, clothing, setting) within the range of your package and the Service creates your Output Photos. The prompt for the model is assembled solely on our server from the options you select and from that description; a free-text field lets you fine-tune a detail and is filtered automatically.
We deliberately generate more photographs than the guaranteed number and, before delivery, automatically select the best of them so that exactly as many photographs as your package guarantees are delivered to you. We deliver the photographs in full resolution and without any visible watermark.
The whole process is fully automated. No one at LookTwin manually reviews or retouches your photographs as part of the ordinary provision of the Service. We access stored files only where it is necessary to investigate a technical fault, a security incident or a complaint.
4. Technical requirements and prohibition of unlawful content
To use the Service you need an internet connection, a current version of a common web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, a working e-mail address, and photographs in JPEG, PNG or WebP format, each up to 10 MB and up to 60 MB in total, with a shorter side of at least 512 pixels.
You must not supply unlawful content through the Service. This includes content that infringes third-party rights, personal data of other people that you are not entitled to provide, malware, and any attempt to interfere with the operation or the security of the Service.
The quality of the Output Photos depends on the quality and the variety of your Input Photos. The application checks each uploaded photo automatically (resolution, sharpness, face detection) and warns you before you order; this is an aid, not a guarantee of the result.
5. Account and conditions of use
Only persons over 18 years old with full legal capacity may use the Service. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors and we do not process photographs of children. If we find that an account belongs to a person under 18, we close it and delete the data.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything done through your Account. If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us immediately at info@looktwin.com.
One person may hold one Account. We apply technical limits per Account (currently a maximum of 20 Models, 12 photographs per training, and daily limits on the number of training and generation runs) in order to keep the Service available and to prevent abuse. The limits in force are shown in the application.
You may delete your Model and all related photographs at any time directly in the application. The Account section additionally contains a single button, Withdraw consent and delete everything, which marks all consents given as withdrawn and deletes all Models and all photographs at once. You may ask us to delete your entire Account at info@looktwin.com.
6. The order and conclusion of the contract
Creating an account and uploading photographs is free of charge and does not in itself create any obligation to pay. The paid performance of the Service is the package.
The presentation of the packages and their prices in the application is an invitation to make an offer, not a binding offer.
Before you press the order button we show you, on the same screen: the main characteristics of the performance (the training of one Model and the delivery of the guaranteed number of Output Photos in full resolution and without a visible watermark), the total price of the chosen package, which is the final price, the statement that the performance (training and generation) starts immediately after payment, and information about the right to withdraw from the contract and about when that right lapses (section 16). The button is labelled Order with an obligation to pay (in the Polish interface Zamówienie z obowiązkiem zapłaty). By pressing it you place a binding order.
The contract is concluded at the moment the payment is confirmed. Immediately afterwards we send you a confirmation on a durable medium (e-mail) that reproduces these Terms, the pre-contractual information, the wording of the ticked statement about the start of the performance and about the loss of the right of withdrawal, and the moment at which you made it.
Card payments are processed by Stripe as our payment service provider. We do not see and do not store your card number.
7. Training and generation after payment
Training starts only after payment and after you give the separate explicit consent to the processing of the photographs of your face described in the Biometric Consent. That consent is required before every training run, because photographs of the face are a special category of data under Art. 9 GDPR and without consent no training may take place. Consent is given by ticking a separate, initially unticked box.
Training takes on the order of tens of minutes and uses 8 to 12 Input Photos. We notify you by e-mail when the photographs are ready.
Output Photos are generated from your Model up to the guaranteed number of your package. We deliberately generate more of them and, before delivery, automatically select the best, so that we deliver exactly the guaranteed number to you. We store them in your gallery in our private storage and deliver them in full resolution, without a visible watermark.
An automated safety filter runs at the AI processor. If it blocks the generation of a particular photograph, that photograph does not come into being and we replace it with another until we reach the guaranteed number.
AI image generation is probabilistic. We cannot guarantee that a particular photograph will meet a particular expectation as to styling or composition. This does not affect your statutory rights arising from defective performance where the Service as a whole is not in conformity with the contract; complaints are described in section 18.
If training fails as a whole, the Model is marked as failed, the photographs uploaded for it are deleted, and we refund the package price to you, unless we agree with you to repeat it.
8. Prices and payment
The package prices shown in the application are total prices in the currency of your region (Czech crowns or Polish zloty). The price you see before you order is the final price and nothing is added to it.
The individual packages differ in the guaranteed number of delivered photographs and in the range of style choices. The application shows the current offer, the guaranteed number and the price of each package before you order.
Payment is a one-off payment for one package. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal; nothing is charged repeatedly and nothing is charged without a further order from you. If you want another Model or more photographs, you order and pay again at the price in force at the time.
For an additional charge we offer supplementary services to a Model you have already ordered, in particular the generation of a further set of photographs or edits to individual photographs; the application shows you their price and scope before you order.
archBO s.r.o. is not a value added tax payer, so no VAT is added to the price. The stated price is final. After payment we send you a proof of payment by e-mail; for anything else write to us at info@looktwin.com.
9. Credits
Credits are merely an internal unit of account by which we measure our own cost of training and generation. The customer does not buy them, is not charged in them and does not need them in order to use the Service; only the package price under section 8 is paid. If we ever decide to sell credits or any other prepaid unit, we will first issue new Terms and notify you in advance.
10. Your photographs and the licence you grant us
All rights to the Input Photos remain yours. We do not acquire ownership of them or any exclusive rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence limited to what is necessary to provide the Service to you: to store the Input Photos, to make them available to the processors named in the Privacy Policy, to train your Model, to generate the photographs and to display them to you. The licence lasts for as long as the relevant data is stored and ends when the Model, the photographs or the Account is deleted.
We do not use your Input Photos, your Model or the Output Photos to train, fine-tune, develop or improve any AI model of ours, and we do not provide them to anyone else for such a purpose. Our AI processor is contractually bound not to use your content to create, train or develop its own products or services.
We do not use your photographs in marketing, references or a portfolio. If we ever wished to, we would ask for a separate, voluntary consent, the refusal of which has no effect on the provision of the Service.
11. Rights to the Output Photos
After you pay for the package, as between you and us the photographs generated from your Model belong to you: you may use them for any permitted purpose, including commercial use — on a professional profile, on a website or in a CV — without any further payment and without naming us.
We claim no rights in the Output Photos beyond the technically necessary storage and display for you.
We point out an important limitation: under both EU and national copyright law it is not settled whether and to what extent wholly AI-generated images enjoy copyright protection. We cannot promise you that you will successfully enforce copyright in an Output Photo against a third party.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of an Output Photo does not infringe the rights of others (for example trade marks, signs or designs visible in the generated background).
12. Rules of acceptable use
You may upload only photographs of yourself. You must not upload photographs of another person unless that person has given you documentable and informed consent to the processing of their likeness by LookTwin for the purpose of training an AI model — and you are able to prove it on request.
Uploading photographs of children and of any persons under 18 is prohibited without exception.
You must not use the Service to create content that impersonates another person, that is intended to deceive, defame, harass or discriminate, content of a sexual nature, nudity or otherwise explicit content, content depicting violence, weapons or self-harm, hateful or extremist symbols, or content otherwise unlawful in Poland, in the Czech Republic or in your country of residence.
You must not bypass the Service's filters, inject instructions for the model into the free-text field, reverse engineer or extract the models, or use the Service in an automated manner beyond ordinary personal use.
The free-text field is filtered automatically against a list of prohibited terms in English, Polish and Czech, and the AI processor applies its own safety filter. These filters are imperfect: they may reject even an innocuous request and they will not catch everything. They do not replace your own responsibility for what you ask for or for what you do with the result.
If you breach this section, we may refuse a request, suspend the Account or withdraw from the contract with immediate effect and claim compensation for the damage caused.
13. AI-generated content and your own obligations
The Output Photos are created by artificial intelligence. They are not a record of a real event: they depict your likeness in a scene that never took place.
We mark every delivered Output Photo in a machine-readable format, as required by Article 50(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act): each delivered file carries an XMP metadata packet with the IPTC property DigitalSourceType set to trainedAlgorithmicMedia, together with the creator tool, a credit line naming the Provider and the date of generation. The AI Transparency Notice describes this in detail. Delivered photographs carry no visible watermark and no visible AI label — only this machine-readable marking.
You must not remove, alter, obscure or otherwise degrade the marking and provenance signals that the Provider embeds in the Output Photos.
If you publish an Output Photo in the course of a professional or business activity — for example on a professional network such as LinkedIn, in a CV or a job application, on a company website or in a portfolio — you may yourself become a deployer under Article 50(4) of the AI Act and have your own duty to state, clearly and distinguishably, that it is an artificially generated image. That duty falls on you, not on us, and cannot be discharged by referring to the machine-readable marking that we embed in the file, because such marking is not perceivable by a human being. For purely personal, non-professional use this duty does not apply to you.
You must not use the Output Photos to mislead anyone about their nature — in particular as evidence, as a document photograph where an authentic photograph is required, or to create the impression that a certain event took place.
14. Availability of the Service
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and on an external AI processor and may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents or supplier outages.
We may change the technical implementation of the Service, including changing the AI processor, provided this does not degrade the characteristics and the quality of the performance you have already paid for. If a change materially and adversely affects your access to or use of the Service, we will announce it in advance and you may terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days. If the change deprives you of access to photographs you have paid for, we refund the price of the relevant package.
This section does not affect your statutory rights where a digital service is not in conformity with the contract. You have the right to have the Service brought into conformity and, where that is impossible or unsuccessful, to a price reduction or to withdrawal from the contract under the applicable consumer law.
15. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by a breach of our obligations under the applicable law.
We do not exclude or limit liability for harm to life and health, for intentional conduct or gross negligence, for breach of statutory obligations regarding the conformity of the performance with the contract, or in other cases where liability towards a consumer cannot be excluded or limited.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, we are not liable for the way in which you use the Output Photos, for the consequences of their publication, or for damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen at the conclusion of the contract.
We are not liable for unavailability of the Service caused by circumstances beyond our control, including outages of our infrastructure or AI suppliers, provided we act without undue delay to restore it.
16. Right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded (payment).
To meet the deadline it is enough to send an unequivocal statement before it expires — by e-mail to info@looktwin.com or in writing to the registered office. You may use the model form in section 17, but this is not mandatory.
The performance of the Service (training the Model and generating the photographs) is the supply of personalised digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium and is created bespoke to your person. It begins immediately after payment, at your express request.
The right to withdraw within 14 days lapses if all of the following are met at once: you expressly requested that the performance begin before the period expired; you acknowledged that you would thereby lose the right of withdrawal; and we began the performance on that basis. This follows from Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, from Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and from Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code.
The wording ticked at payment reads: I expressly request that LookTwin begin performance immediately after payment, before the 14-day withdrawal period expires — training my Model and generating my photographs — and I acknowledge that by beginning this bespoke performance I lose my right to withdraw from the contract. We confirm this statement to you by e-mail immediately after payment, together with the order (section 6).
If you did not make this express request, did not acknowledge its consequence, or if we did not provide you with the pre-contractual information about the right of withdrawal, the right does not lapse. You may then withdraw within 14 days and we will refund the whole price within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same means of payment.
If you withdraw before we have begun the performance, you pay nothing and we refund the whole price.
17. Model withdrawal form
(Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To: archBO s.r.o., Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague, Czech Republic, info@looktwin.com.
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the supply of the following digital content or for the provision of the following service: ......................................................
Date the contract was concluded: ...................... Name and surname of the consumer: ...................... Address of the consumer: ...................... E-mail used for the order: ......................
Signature of the consumer (only if this form is sent on paper): ...................... Date: ......................
18. Complaints
Complaints about the Service, including complaints about the lack of conformity of the digital service or the digital content with the contract and complaints about payments and packages, should be sent to info@looktwin.com. Please describe the problem, state the e-mail of your Account, the date and, where relevant, the Model or the photograph the complaint concerns, and tell us what resolution you expect.
We reply to a complaint within 14 days of its receipt, on a durable medium. If the complainant is a consumer and we do not reply within that period, the complaint is deemed to have been accepted (analogously to Art. 7a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act for Polish consumers).
If we reject a complaint in whole or in part, our reply will also state whether we agree to take part in out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings or whether we refuse to take part.
19. Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes
archBO s.r.o. has not undertaken to use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. This does not deprive you of the right to turn to the bodies listed below; it means only that we are not bound in advance by an obligation to participate. We will state a refusal to participate in a specific matter expressly in our reply to your complaint.
A consumer resident in the Czech Republic may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, which is the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in this area: adr.coi.cz, coi.cz.
A consumer resident in Poland may in particular turn to the provincial inspector of the Trade Inspection (wojewódzki inspektor Inspekcji Handlowej) with a proposal for mediation, to the permanent consumer arbitration court (stały sąd polubowny konsumencki) at the Trade Inspection, or make use of the free assistance of a district (municipal) consumer ombudsman (powiatowy/miejski rzecznik konsumentów). Information: polubowne.uokik.gov.pl and uokik.gov.pl.
For cross-border disputes within the European Union, free assistance is provided by the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net): in the Czech Republic evropskyspotrebitel.cz, in Poland konsument.gov.pl.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform has been discontinued and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025; we therefore do not provide a link to the ODR platform.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms only for a serious reason and only with effect for the future. The serious reasons are exhaustively: a change of law or of its official interpretation; a decision of a court or of a supervisory authority; a change of the processors or of the technology used to provide the Service; a security or abuse-prevention requirement; a change in the scope of the services provided or in the business model; the addition of a new function or a new payment method; the correction of an obvious error.
We will notify you of a change by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect and send the new text.
A change does not operate retroactively against packages already paid for or against performances already provided: the photographs you have paid for remain yours at the price you paid. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the Service and terminate the contract before the change takes effect.
Every version of the Terms carries a version number and an effective date and remains available on request.
21. Duration and termination of the contract
The contract is performed by the delivery of the guaranteed number of Output Photos from your Model. Nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged repeatedly. You may stop using the Service at any time.
You may delete the Model together with the training and the generated photographs at any time in the application; you may ask for the Account to be deleted at info@looktwin.com. Deleting the Model or the Account also deletes the generated photographs, so download them first. We keep the generated photographs available for download for as long as the Model exists in your Account, and in any event for at least 12 months from payment.
We may terminate the contract with immediate effect in the event of a serious breach of section 4 or section 12 or where required by law. If we terminate the contract before we have delivered the photographs to you, we refund the package price.
22. Personal data
The processing of personal data — including the photographs of the face, which we treat as a special category of data — is described in the Privacy Policy and the Biometric Consent. Both documents are available in the footer of every page.
Providing the photographs and giving the separate explicit consent is voluntary, but without them the Service cannot be provided, because processing the photographs of the face is the very substance of the Service.
23. Governing law, language and jurisdiction
These Terms and the contract are governed by Czech law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence (Art. 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I). For consumers resident in Poland, mandatory Polish consumer law applies in full.
A consumer may bring an action against us before the courts of the Czech Republic or before the courts of the country of their residence; we may sue a consumer only before the courts of the country of their residence (Arts 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
We publish the Terms in Czech, Polish and English. For consumers resident in Poland, the Polish version is the basis for interpretation, in accordance with the Polish Act on the Polish Language.
If any provision of these Terms becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force and the relevant statutory rule applies in place of the invalid provision.
24. Effective date
This version 3.0 of the Terms of Service is effective from 21 August 2026 and replaces previous versions.
